Game #1 Jeff Davis (5-5, 3-3) at Fairhope (10-0, 8-0)

Skinny: Second year head coach Lee Carter brings the Volunteers back into playoff action since a 2011 loss to Blount. Jeff Davis has averaged 29.4 points per game giving up 26.0 points per game. QB David Whitlow and Ger'Kerry Jackson are having a solid year on offense. Whitlow has completed 56-for-94 passing for 884 yards & 4 TD's with 2 interceptions. Jackson leads the Volunteers in rushing with 998 yards on 171 carries with 9 touchdowns. Jackson has a 5.8 yard per carry average. Kelvin Temple had 506 yards on 16 receptions and 4 TD's. Temple is averaging a whopping 31.6 yards per catch average. Cory Smith has 29 receptions. Sophomore Travis Bell has 60 tackles to lead the Volunteers. For Fairhope, Head coach Adam Winegarden is 2-2 in playoff action. The Pirates had wins over Pelham and a loss to Carver-Montgomery in the 2013 playoffs. QB Grey Jackson leads the Pirates offense with Dave Kirksey at running back that can carry the load for the Pirates. The Pirates are one of the top teams in scoring offense at 43.8 points per game, while only giving up 21.5 points per game. The two teams didn't play this season or have any common opponents.

Game #2 Foley (7-3, 5-3) at Auburn (4-5, 4-2)

Skinny: These two teams played in 2013 in the first round and Auburn won the game 23-20. Head coach Todd Watson brings a 6-9 record into the playoffs. The Lions are averaging 31.6 points per game while giving up 19.0 points per game. Foley is coming off a loss to McGill-Toolen their last game. Isaiah Lewis leads the Foley ground game. QB Tyler Cameron can move the chains in the air for the Lions. Cameron has completed 106-for-192 for 1,312 yards & 10 TD's against 4 interceptions. The senior Lewis rushed for 1,491 yards on 232 carries with 14 touchdowns. Lewis has six games with over 100 yards this season. For Auburn, the Tigers have come a long way the last three games. The Auburn offense has averaged 40 points a game and only 12 points on defense in those last three games. Running back RB Tyus Flakes leads the way for Auburn.
